I have not checked the jitter but the XY table runs pretty smooth and
the accuracy is very good. I exported a 600 hole drill file and
somewhere in the process the software duplicated each "series" of
holes and it ended up darting back about every 5 or 6 holes and
redrilling the sequence of holes in reverse (real boring to watch!)
at the end of the 30 minute run it ended back precisely at 0,0 and
all of the holes were dead on. If it has jitter I guess it doesn't
matter as long as I get what I want ;-)
BTW the XY steps per inch are 3200 and my table is currently setup to
run at 25IPM. I am going to double that rate next to see if accuracy
suffers.
