See my earlier posts over the last few days about Parallel Port
Woes. If you can force steps from the Gecko then you can rule out
motors, power supply and the Gecko drives. You are then left with
the signal from the PC, the cables (not likely)or the parallel port.
If the port does not have enough "pookey" to turn on the
optoisolators then nothing will happen.
