Re: Fire risk when wood routing

I have to agree. We used to remove all the metal chips at the end of
the day. Then we did a 'government' project ( the boss wanted a
greenhouse) so we did a lot of wood for 2 days. cleaned up the chips
daily, and put them in 55 gallon drums each day.

On Monday, one of the drums was empty. We worked Saturday, and the
boss was in on Sunday and no one ever saw or smelled the smoke. it
simmered for 2 days and just burnt itself out.

Had it been inside, or on wood or had more air, well, that would have
been a totally different story.
