I thought a 6 wire motor connected in half winding and an 8 wire
connected in either half winding ( only one coil for each contorller
connection, the other part of the coil will be un-used) or parallel
(matched coils connected in parallel onto each controller
connection) would have the same speed. on difference is the 8 wire
is 3% more efficient.
there would be no difference in speed other than the 3%.
