I think the CAD CAM market is becomimg quite interesting at the
moment with a few new programs coming out that put the emphasis on
ease of use and leave the older "Fifteen ways to do it with a secret
handshake" programs out in the cold.
In the last few weeks we have seen the release of Turbocadcam, now
Sprutcam and Cadem is working hard to get the bugs out of their new
Capsmill program.
The first two look to be competatively priced with what is already
out there.
I was very impressed with the Turbocadcam beta program. They put a
lot of effort in and really listened to users comments. The only
critism I have is that it doesn't pay enough attention to the part it
has cut so it can air cut on the second pass or tool.
Sprutcam looks to have addressed this but without trying the demo
it's hard to say.
