Hi Peter,
I have the Sherline rotary table working just fine with TurboCNC. I am not
using Gecko's but that should not make any difference. If you are set up to
half step the motor then one revolution of the table is 28800 steps (400
steps per rev * 72 = 28800) so you want to configure the axis that has the
rotary table to be 80 steps per degree. In TurboCNC that is set to .0125
per unit for the rotary table axis.
Your gcode command of G01 X180 f50 would move at the rate of 50 degrees per
minute so it would take 3.6 minutes to rotate the table 180 degrees.
