Hi Dean,
I purchased one that looks a lot like this one with only a few differences.
The motor is 110 instead of 220. The control is different, no cover on back
and no stand. Other than that it is the same. Price is $1099 from Harbor
Freight

Item number 42827 if the link doesn't work.
I really like this unit. The ways are very solid and straight. The table
.0005 flat. The lead screw leaves something to be desired but it does have a
screw on the brass nut to adjust backlash. But most of the slop is in the
bearings so I am working on shimming that. Right now (on weekends) working
on CNCing the unit almost have the Z axis done. It is very heavy 650+ lbs.
Needs a metal stand to support the weight. I welded up one out of scrap
steel keeping the bottom open so you can work on the Y axis. Learned that
from someone on the list.

Hi, I am looking for a mill drill to convert to cnc and I noticed this
one at House of Tools up here in Canada. It's got a 2HP 220V spindle
motor and dovetail ways. The price seem pretty good at $1670US. They
just started selling this model under their house brand name Force.
What do you think?
