Dan,

So it seems you are saying that you have not learned how to use Vector,
not that it is hard to use. Not quite the way someone spun your post.

Have you done the Vector in 2 hours tutorial that ships with the
program? It is normally a pretty good way to get up to speed and get a
handle on the Vector basics. Also if you tell us what you want to do we
can give you some ideas how other Vector users would do it. Sometimes
the things that seem simple in reality are not.
