Taking that further, you can use a URL like this one:

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/CAD_CAM_EDM_DRO/messages/51480?
viscount=100&expand=1

Change the 51480 to the first message number you want.
"viscount" is the number of messages you want. Unfortunately,
it will do a maximum of 100 (put in a higher number and
you still get only 100). But it can still reduce the
number of "slurps" further, down to about 600.
