So if you have a text file with all messages, you aren't going through
their interface, and are violating the rules. The whole reason they have
these groups is so you'll look at the ads that come up when you're
browsing the messages. If you browse with no ads, they don't make any
money.

I believe it was the late night talk show host Tom Snider who said,
"Let's face it folks, we're just here to keep the commercials from
bumping into each other."
