I have no idea how i blew the optos.
When I sent them in for repair some months ago, Mariss wasnt specific as to how they were blown.So, I just assumed that it was some type of error on my part.
Not that running the +5Vdc from the power supply is a problem. I remember seeing something to the effect of using common ground as the opto source, and didnt know if I could do it with a G201 or not.
