I'm going to look over this thread when I get a little time later this
evening.... But in regards the above, a little known Beta version From
Flashcut included this long ago. It was 1.50, and was really a beta
version around the time of 1.4. It allowed for the installation of a G27
(?? been a while) anywhere in the file. It would force the machine to
lift the Z axis to machine zero, then run to X-Y zero. Then, the typical
homing routine would run, reset all machine 0 positions, then return to
the job where it left off. It was fabulous, but was not really presented
to the public for version 1. I have not had the need to use it since I
had been running so stable, but it is a super cool technique....

I forgot to try it out until just now, but as far as I know, this
really great feature is ready to rock and roll in the new Version 2 of
Flashcut. I'll be sure to double check tonight. if for some reason it is
not in there, I'll be on the horn asking why !
