Take the course! It will be fun and will teach you about all the "Bells and Whistles" which is exactly what you are searching for.

I did and it was a fun experience for me.

ACK - 13 meg download, plus 5 meg for the manual! I think I'll
wait till Monday when my ADSL line gets installed

DesignCAD is nice, but it just doesn't do things the way I want. I've
actually thought of signing up at the local CC in an autocad course to get
the student discount!
