If you look in the files section of this group there are a few circuits that
will generate step signals to do what you want. If you use a proven existing
CNC control program you can skip the power feed step and not worry about
computer bugs.
For a mill drill unit 125 oz/in motors would be very weak. Most people use
300 + for a mill drill unit and would use 125 oz/in or bigger motors for a
Sherline or Taig.
