Hi,
I would suggest you email Vladimir at Rutex with your questions. I've
been using three Rutex R990's in one of my milling machines for about a
month now and am very happy with their performance. As I've mentioned
before, they aren't quite as easy to tune as the Geckos (assuming you
have a scope and sig-gen) but they're very stable and smooth in
operation. The current model does cause the motor to emit a pesky 12KHz
squeal (the PWM freq) but I understand it will soon be replaced by the
R990H model with a 19KHz PWM freq that only bats and dogs will hear (I
think). From what I've read - you might also look at the integrated
Plasma Cutter control board - the R510A.
Good luck!
Cheers, Peter
