Your rack and pinion suggestion is one I had
pursued in the past but came up short when trying to
find the needed items. Do you know where I can find
these? The machine I am trying to copy is the
Torchmate and it also uses dual drive rack and pinions
with steppers. This is the way I would like to go, but
as I said I don't know where to find it.
