Raul,

if you have an LED, just a simple LED, and a 250 to 500 ohm resistor,
check to see if you get a voltage drop when connected on the end of
your cable from the +5 to ground.

I'm not sure of the power draw for the Gecko isolators, but you would
need to multiply that by the total number of Geckos and then double
it for the step and direction on each.
