3 Phase power is no problem. It can be as simple as a spare 3 phase motor a
little larger than the load you will put on it. I have seen one system where
all they had is a 5 HP 3 Phase motor hooked up with two leads connected to a
220 volt circuit breaker and the three leads from the 3 Phase machine
connected (one each) to the three leads on the 5 HP motor. He spun the motor
with a rope and then flipped the breaker on. If you want a self starting
Phase Converter, I could send you a diagram.
As far as moving the machine, I have moved my equipment (including a series
2 Bridgeport) with a floor jack and a half dozen 1" dia by 10" long pieces
of pipe.
