Supposed to be some 400 oz-in that he just got and hadn't listed
them on the web site yet.

There is 5v across the encoder + and - leads, if that's what you are
talking about.

Tim suggested I measure the voltage across enc- and each of the
phase wires. One side goes from 5v to 0 as I turn the shaft, the
other side stays fixed at 5v.
