With Axis Wizard, you set up the overall ratio of steps to distance by
entering drive ratio, steps/rev and screw pitch. The one number resulting
is used to convert all input data to steps, which are what's issued to
motors. To display distance in terms of inch, metric or steps, the routine
that reads that out simply divides number of steps traveled by the constant
needed. Works just fine.

on the screws.
