If you only want to do basic 3-D work from stl files then it may be. If
you have a need to do any advanced strategies or need to do 2-1/2D work
from dxf files than it will probably not do what you need. It has .dxf
import abilities removed due to licensing issues so there is virtually
no capability for 2-1/2D work.
