g320 won't move??

I have a g320 hooked up and the motor is not moving when I start it
up. and when I moved the motor shaft the drive "pushes back". so that
tells me that everything as far as the drive goes is working well. I
have EMC hooked up to the drive and the motor will not turn?? I have
checked to output from the computer with a logic probe and the
computer is sending the step and dir. There is one thing that I don't
know and that is the jumper settings on the drive. There are places
for a jumper on the drive but the drive didn't come with any jumpers.
