On a G320 the common MUST be +5V. I find the easiest is to get it from a
spare drive connector, but others use the 15 pin game port or a usb port
as the source.
There was a big discussion about what common means for a gecko about 2
weeks ago on this list. It is frequently NOT ground. Look in the
archives.
