John,

A motor drive design is more difficult and time consuming than
designing something like the G2002.

Because there is no project team where the efforts of many people
have to be coordinated, there are no scheduled mileposts that have to
be met. Complicating things further, I do not work on design in a
linear fashion. When I get stale or run up against an obstacle on one
project, I work on a different one. This change of perspective yeilds
the needed renewal or idea for the fallow project.

I am actively working on the G201IP, the BLDC servodrive and
the "classic" servoamp. In two weeks I get the G2002 boards and
sheetmetal which I will have to proof-out and write a manual for.

In short, I can't tell you when it will be done because I don't know
when either.
