Re: MACHINE TOOL RECONDITIONING Book

Just a note on the title of this book.
First off this in no way reflects on the efforts of Norman and Ken on
the other list for supplying these books well below list.

The book is entitled Machine Tool Reconditioning when in actual fact
it's a book on scraping - pure and simple.
Anyone wanting to buy a boook on the title subject may be
dissapointed by this.
Reconditioning a machine tool covers far, far more than scraping
surfaces. Machine tools have gearboxes, bearings, feed boxes and all
sorts of ancilliary devices, non of which are mentioned in this book.

This isn't a sour grapes post as I have bought the book but the lack
of coverage of the missing elements certainly detracts from honestly
calling this title Machine Tool Reconditioning.
