what I purchased and return earlier. It is called a JUMPER BOX, a box
with DB25 on both ends, and the pins connected to solder holes on a
PCB inside. Now all I have to do is to solder wires across the
relevant pins and I have an adaptor box for 2 different
drivers/controller.
Only thing is, I am wondering if it would be wise to solder in rows
of "jumper terminals" (don't know what it is called, but they are
come in a breakable strip with pins at the bottom to fit into
prototype PCB and holes at the top for inserting jumper wires. If I
do that, I'll have something just like that adaptor I previously
bought and return, but with the added flexibility of not having pins
25 hard-wired together permanently.
Which would be better - hard soldering the connections, or use
those "jumper terminals"?
