The gates belting is common and is distributed through most larger
bearing houses. Just look in the yellow pages under bearings. I went
to Comercial Bearing here in Edmonton, and the belts and pulleys had
to be ordered from a US warehouse.
The belt is called Gates Powergrip GT2 long length belting and the
part number I used is LL5MR25.
