Down here, in Ontario 250 psi is about normal for air - nobody is
complaining
so far...
Yes 4" bore probably will do, but I would prefer even bigger one, just to
make sure.
What you are referring to is an air over hydraulic multiplier, which is
great, but expensive.
At this stage I just want to have something working, even if punching
capacity is limited,
just to prove the concept and software. I saw the product at Names show,
by John Osborne. He was using C-frame Unittool actuated by the lever and CNC
arrangement
for moving stock. I want to do something similar with air cylinder for
punching and
turret for moving Unittools around to change sizes.
Will send you an update every step.
