Fortino:

By spindle power, I am assuming that you are refering to the power to
the tool bit. If it is underpowered compared to the speed that you
are feeding into your material and the "hardness" of the material, it
will slow down, jam and cause grief as your axis motor will continue
to force it to plow on. I don't think that overpower wil hurt other
than to add weight to the tool.
