I had one once, a 5hp model. It drove me up the wall with all the racket
it made. Bolt it to a couple steel bars to widen the footprint,
and put some good large rubber padded feet on the ends. If you bolt it
to a board, the board just acts like a speaker.
Enclose it in a box with some sound absorbing foam, egg crate flats,
etc. A small fan and inlet will keep it cool.
If you are ambitious, take the capacitor box off the motor and hang it
on the wall. I just made my own to replace it.
