Raul,
I do a lot of drilling with my Porter Cable router, but I use router bits.
My procedure depending on the thickness is to use a router bit and spot
drill a shallow hole. I then take my part to a drill press and drill it to
size.
For thin material, I either drill a small hole typically with an 1/8 " bit
or use the bit to pocket out the correct hole size.
I don't think a drill bit would work.
