MDF is nice and dense so that may help. But the real question is what
type of noise are you dealling with?
One issue is to figure out what type of noise you are dealing with and
to figure out how it is coupling to the outside world.
I do have to wonder why any proxxon conversion would be make so much
noise. Its not like this is a big device.
