No, G91 is incremental programming, that can't be it. Of course, if
you WERE in G91 (incremental) mode, it could cause all sorts of undesirable
things to happen. Now, there is one WELL known problem with EMC, which
is in handling G92 offsets at program end (it may also reset them on a
manual programm interrupt (esc key) or the f6 (reset) key. The offsets
definitely go away on an M02 (program end) in the BDI version. The older
versions didn't do that, in fact, the G92 offsets were saved and reactivated
whenever EMC was shut down and restarted.

Anyway, if it IS in incrmental mode, you would use a G90 to set to
absolute mode (which is confusingly different from the absolute
coordinate system).
