Especially for servo tuning, a digital STORAGE scope is a great plus.
I tried doing some servo tuning with an analog real-time scope, and it
was very hard to read the quick flash of light across the screen. I have
a Link Systems DSO-2102, which is most likely obsolete, and more
scope (100 MSamples/sec) than is needed for this purpose.

A 20 MHz bendwidth would be nice for the case where you need to look
at transistor waveforms, and 2 channels is a big help when looking at
both the stimulus and the response on the same event.
