regarding your wiring, if it spins in the direction you have no
problems. if it spins in reverse from the way you expect, your
choices are to change the output on the direction pin. most software
will let you chose HI or LOW to go clockwise you you don't have to
move wires.
but, it you want to change direction, all you need to do is to swap 2
wires. leave one coil alone and just change one coil.
very easy.
