You know, I've found a great many different step sequence
descriptions out on the net. What one calls wave, another calls
full. What one calls half, the other calls full. Its sooo confusing!

So, does this sound correct?
1) Energizing only 1/2 of a coil at a time is full stepping. Full
speed, 1x power
2)Energizing 2 of the 1/2 coils at a time in four steps is wave
stepping full speed, 1.4times torque, 2xpower
3)Energizing 2 of the 1/2 coils at a time in eight steps is half
stepping. Half speed, 1.4 times torque,2xpower
4) Microstepping is something else :D
