It does seem like a great idea.
I would think that the best way to do this is to start a seperate
list for those who might want to be involved.
This would keep the non-topic posts off here and prevent an even
larger problem of searching the archives.
Second I think divisions of tasks would be needed. one person to
ferret out all the ACME vs Ball Screws posts. another to compile all
the designing for torque posts etc.
And, the really think the first task would be to get those of us who
already have our 'keeper' lists of posts to offer them for the list.
and for copywrite reasons, get permission from the origional posters
to reference their work.
and finally, to get Bill (Mom) to clean out the files section to make
room for these posts once compiled. or alternativly to keep them in
the 'new' list.
