Have you ever packed Wheel Bearings on a car? I'll put a beer on it that
you havent......
They are preloaded and every manufacturer recommends a different preload.
So you've setup two machines.... Hmmm...
Why dont you give us some pics of the equipment so this barefoot hillbilly
from the sticks can sees what your doing? :)
