My point exactly. There is drag on those bearings. The preloads are
typically pretty light.

I don't have time to share. I'm extremely busy. I've helped one guy
get started on his CNC project, but I'd have to write a document and
post a bunch of pictures to be helpful to people on masse. I'll do
something like that late in the fall/early winter. I appreciate the
help I've gotten from this group and I've given back where I can.
Something bigger ie documents and pictures will have to wait.
