For many an advantage of the DeskCNC software and board is that it works
with Windows instead of having to dedicate a system to Linux. I have run
it on my Taig and it have a VERY even and smooth pulse train whether
connected to my laptop with a USB running XP pro or to my beater desktop
with a serial cable.
