Kim,

Look on google for pictures of a Mazak M4. This is a twin turret bed
lathe with a sliding door you might like. The door will slide out of
the way over the headstock. Also observe the chip guard on the back
side of the machine. On older machines with the 5T control, the
computer cabinet was placed next to the headstock with enough
clearance to let the sliding door clear. this is where you could
place the computer/monitor on a rolling table if need be. Newer
models of the M4 have the Mazetrol controller mounted in an overhead
arrangement as you will see.
