Someone on here did a flat belt drive just a few months ago, really

precision costs $$$ you have to ask how accurate you can affor to be.

on the flip side, as I understand plasma is not super accurate so
spending extra to spilt a thou on accuracy is not a great investment.

dual ballscrews will cost more than pretty much any other way you go.

a gear or belt with one heavy motor and one driver (Gecko?) will be
far less than 2.

a fixed rack or belt and floating gears will also cost less.

regarding your crack at windoz, no problem with us win-98 guys. like
they say, a PC without a MS operating system is like a dog without
some bricks tied to it's neck.
