Again, it does not *APPEAR* so...

I've been web searching all night, and have found
out that the NTE331 is indeed a Power Regulator/Switch.
I'm lame, but I think I figured out what happened.

Tell me what you think -

In wiring the motors incorrectly, I caused a condition where they were
constantly pulling from the power supply, causing an overload of the
regulator, making it blow up quite impressively.
(loud, bright, and blew the heat sink right off it)

Thoughts?
