How did you have the motors wired ?
and as far as guessing what went wrong, who knows. I blew a Gecko
for some unknown gremlin. it ran the motor for a few days, I was
running and POP! you are correct, it is impressive when things blow
up.
A new gecko and it ran on and off for almost a year before I changed
motors and the wiring.
I did have the wire on the table so it was moving and twisting as the
table moved. best I can think was one strand did something odd, or
the shield touced the machine....
never could find anything wrong, but it works now. : )
