Dan,

I believe if you shop around a little you'll find the Centroid
controls are at the rock bottom low end of the price scale. I don't
know of any production controllers that are less. Please note: I'm
not including the hobby controllers used by many on this list in the
same category as the Centroid. There are tremendous differences

Yeah one is all you need and the other is an over-priced over-engineered confusing miriad of electronics that when it hiccups you have to call someone out at 80 dollars an hour to repair it. A properly configured Mach2/Gecko Servo system on a Bridgeport will make the aforementioned look like power feed.

and the hobby type which account for the
price differentials.

One peek at my invoices would reveal this is no hobby...lol
