The real problem is that you're using a compliment of 25.4mm which
seems to have an infinite number of places.
Instead of dividing by the compliment of the conversion factor
25.4mm as in:
1in / 0.039370078740157480314960629921259842519685... = 25.400... mm
you should multiply by the conversion factor of 25.4 as in:
1in * 25.4mm = 25.4mm
