It's nothing personal to people generating it, and they probably
never see it themselves or realize it's happening.

The problem is whatever they are using to send messages wraps the
line as they type, but doesn't insert a CR and/or a LF.

The standard on the internet is to have them, and most stuff
expects them and it looks horrible when someone pulls it up
on a system with different font spacing, tab-stops, wider or
narrower screen and simply ralls off the right hand side of the
screen on others.


I could not have posted a decent reply to such a post without
adding in 2 dozen lines-feeds and they attribution markers, the
'>' above for example.
