McMasterCarr ( http://www.mcmaster.com ) is also be a good place to
try. They have ACME and ball screws/nuts. If you look at ball
screws you'll see there's one size, 5/8" x 13/64" pitch, that only
cost $1.07/inch and the nuts are $20.63 ea. It must be an
automotive size or something that makes it high volume for low
price. The pitch is odd but software doesn't care and the price is
about the same as not so good ACME screws.
