I've bought from Green Bay in the past. The finish on their Acme
rod is excellent. According to their current catalog, the still
only manufacture the rod in .009/ft lead accuracy, and don't
offer .003/ft material. They do sell cut to length and their
service and shipping is good, but they do not take any type of
credit cards, so you've either got to wait for your mail payment to
clear or pay the UPS COD fee. Maybe now that they've got a website
that will change, but it hasn't yet. Anyone in the market for these
products should email them and get their catalog though. It has
dimensions and pricing, and they do offer a wide selection of Acme
nuts in various configurations and materials.
