Hi,

A brushed servo motor runs on DC, the voltage and power required for full
rpm will be on the motor plate. Identify the power leads and connect it to a
power supply, it will spin. The way to check the encoder is with a frequency
counter or scope.

Your BBC machine will have to be converted to PC unless you can get the
machine running as is. I have a Harrison built by the same company and when
I get a terminal break down I'll be doing the same thing.

Regards,

Terry
